Polly Warman Interiors

My design approach is centred around storytelling - shaping how a space is experienced, felt and remembered. I prioritise the guest journey, crafting immersive environments that move beyond aesthetic to evoke atmosphere and emotion. My work is driven by grit, emotion, and sentiment, resulting in spaces that are both distinctive and timeless, fostering connections that resonate far beneath the surface.

"Storytelling is the invisible layer in design, it's what turns an object into something you feel."

ABOUT

With a belief that every great space begins with a story, my work is driven by the relationship between design and human experience – how a room is entered, how it makes you feel, and what it leaves behind. I design with emotion first, and aesthetic second.

What sets my approach apart is a deep, lived understanding of hospitality. A professional foundation spanning front of house service through to restaurant operations, I have developed a strong command for delivering exceptional standards in service exacting high standards. This has instilled a meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of what constitutes truly outstanding guest experience from how a person moves through, responds to, and remembers a space. I have seen first hand how lighting, layout, materials, and atmosphere can shape guest’s entire experience, and how the finest details are often what guests feel most, even when they cannot name them. That perspective is now the foundation of everything I design and I apply it to both commercial and residential projects.

My training at the Inchbald School of Design has given me the technical rigour and creative vocabulary to translate that understanding into considered, resolved spaces.

I want my designs to go beyond surface level – to carry grit, emotion, and sentiment, and to create spaces that people return to not just because they are beautiful, but because they feel like somewhere worth being.
